Bio

Louis Raymond

Landscape designer Louis Raymond has been creating terraces professionally

since 1989. Large or small, modest or grand, complex or straightforward,

standalone or part of larger projects, his terraces are all thoughtfully designed, realistically budgeted, and carefully constructed.

Louis has gardened for over 50 years: Since pre–school, in fact, when he was

noted for digging up and bringing home geraniums from some public gardens

across the street. Twenty–five years ago, he retired from the operatic stage

to take up the trowel professionally as a landscape designer.

For six seasons, Louis was the show designer for the Boston Spring Flower &

Garden Show, and his work has appeared in many national and local publications including Metropolitan Home, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal,

and House and Garden (cover).

Louis transforms properties for a largely residential client base from Canada to the Caribbean, Montreal to Montecito, Connecticut to California, Back Bay to Turtle Bay.
